The main goal of the event was to present the results of the DanuBioValNet project, and the strategic goals and opportunities related to its continuation. Veritas Cluster participated in all planned sessions of the conference as well as met with the project partners and discussed future plans for cluster development in Bulgaria.

 During the event, it was also discussed:

• The future of competitiveness in the Danube regionduring regional transformation;
• The role of clusters, bioeconomic transformation and the impact of the DanuBioValNet project at different levels
• New bio-based industries – phytopharmaceuticals, eco-construction and bio-based packaging, which have huge potential and can bring great benefits to the regional development of the Danube region.

 The event was an excellent opportunity to strengthen cooperation between clusters inn the three identified value chains.
