Encouraging policy dialogue and policy learning in the scope of development through clusters - Malgorzata Szczapenska, Director of Innovation Department, Ministry of Economic Development, Poland
European Cluster Policies and Initiatives - Slawomir Tokarski, Director for Innovation and Advanced Manufactoring, DG GROW, Europqn Commission; as well as panel discussion: Cluster policy in the V4+4 countries -priorities, new challenges and link to other policies, with the participation of representatives from Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Czech Republic.
The conference day provided an opportunity to discuss the different cluster policies in each country of V4+4. It became a platform to exchange knowledge on approach of clustering and address the key question on the effective use of clusters in accelerating entrepreneurship, fostering internationalisation, facilitating growth of SMEs and cross-sectorial value chains.
After the networking lunch, the conference offered parallel sessions concentrated on 4 thematic areas, the possibility to present best practices, as well as the opportunity to discuss the trends, barriers and challenges for acceleration and building cooperation between clusters in V4+4 countries.
